The location.....
"Adam and Eve lost it - we found it", ad for Manyana, The Daily Mirror, 18 October 1960.
Manyana is (still) an undeveloped, village on the South Coast. It offers beach holidays the way you remember them.
Manyana is surrounded by two long surf beaches, a tidal lake, and a third flat-water beach all backed by undisturbed Australian bushland. A small island (Green Island) is a beach walk away from the house. You can snorkel around the island, discover tide pools, or, at low tide, walk across to explore. For essential food supplies and paddle pops, drive 5 minutes to Bendalong shop, where you can also sit down for a quiet coffee, pizza or fish chips at the relaxing cafe.
Further afield is Milton also boasting cafes, a large supermarket, antique shops, restaurants, markets, and bric-a-brac boutiques. Walkers may prefer a climb up Pigeon House Mountain, or the nature reserves and national parks, which are all nearby.
For the occasional rainy day, there are wineries, an air force museum, and swim centre, all within 45 minutes drive.
Manyana is three hours easy drive from both Sydney and Canberra.
Weekly only during xmas holidays/ 3 night minimum stay with weekly discount other times.
Refundable bonds and booking fee payable.
