Frankland Cottage was built in the 1890’s and has recently been renovated and re decorated throughout, yet retains many original features.
The nightly tariff of $160.00 is for the first 2 adults.Additional adults are charged at $30.00 per person. Children between the ages of 2 and 16 are charged at $10.00 per night. Children under 2 stay free.
It has a modern bathroom and kitchen, two bedrooms, a lounge room, dining room, and laundry. Off street parking and private back yard with outdoor setting and a BBQ.
The kitchen is fully equipped and contains all of those bits and pieces required including a dishwasher, full size stove, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery etc.
The lounge has a reverse cycle Air Conditioner for comfort.
The cottage can sleep up to 4 guests with extra sleeping on a sofa bed if necessary. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. Cot and highchair can be provided on request, at no extra cost. All linen is provided with doonas and electric blankets on the beds.
The cottage is in an area with many Federation style homes and “trendy” cafes, is close to the Launceston General Hospital and is only 1.5 kilometres from the city centre. There is a supermarket and bottle shop close by.
