Hibiscus Lodge is a bird watchers paradise, a place where you can relax in the peaceful gardens with a book or just sit and watch the many varieties of native animals and colourful butterflies that visit the garden each day. You may even be lucky enough to see a Cassowary roaming the grounds.

The guest wing of this Mission Beach bed and breakfast venue features three private guest rooms none of which back onto each other giving complete privacy.

All guest bedrooms have en-suites, television & DVD Players, air conditioning, ceiling fans and insect screened windows, so essential for those balmy tropical nights.

All rooms are tastefully decorated in the style and colours of the tropics. Beautiful native timbers are used extensively throughout to compliment the tropical lifestyle

Swimming is not a problem throughout the year in our landscaped tropical pool or once again you can relax in the sun and soak away the stress of busy city living.

Each morning awaken to the call of the Kookaburra and the sounds of the many native birds greeting the new day. Follow the aroma of freshly baked muffins freshly brewed coffee around to the breakfast area which overlooks the rainforest.

Relax over breakfast which includes a choice of cereals, fruit juice, fresh tropical fruit salad, yogurt, delicious freshly baked muffins, and toast with a selection of home made jams (made by Adrienne) and if you can fit it in a delicious cooked breakfast if you so desire. All this is followed by tea or freshly brewed local coffee, a truly enjoyable way to start your day

And in the evening enjoy a complimentary wine, beer or soft drink on the spacious verandah overlooking the garden before you go out to enjoy your evening meal at one of the many local restaurants, bars and hotels available, many of which are within walking distance.

Rainforest Room The Rainforest room has two twin beds and is decorated with the colours of the blue of the Coral Sea and the Green of the rainforest. The en-suite is decorated with hand painted tiles representing the rainforest, the Gecko, Green tree Frog, the Blue Ulysses butterfly and of course the Cassowary.
