Motel 429 comprises 33 rooms which are all non-smoking.
The 9 deluxe rooms at the front of the building have been completely refurbished in contempary tones, fittings, finishes and with a modern bathroom. These new larger rooms feature furnishings of stylish beech timber, enclosed within myrtle timber surrounds that compliment the high quality of the rooms. They all have individual heating/cooling systems which are set by yourself for the comfort level you desire.
The 24 standard rooms have been recently redecorated and have their own balconies.
All rooms have their own tea/coffee making facilities, toaster, refrigerator, direct dial phones, electric blankets, mini bar, television, in-house movies, iron and ironing board.
Motel 429 has a Leisure Centre which overlooks the beautiful Derwent River. The gym is well equipped with an electronic treadmill, lifecycle exercise bike, rowing machine, torso bench and a York MultiGym complete with selected weight levels, pec deck, lateral pulldown, leg extension, leg curls and more - great way to maintain your fitness level while away.
The Leisure Centre also has a 40 jet spa and cedar sauna to relax after a gym workout or simply after enjoying the pleasures that our lovely State has to offer.
A guest laundry is located adjacent to the gym.
There is also a BBQ area for guests to enjoy a quiet night at the Motel.
