We are located in the village of Mapleton on the beautiful Blackall Range. The views are wonderful and because we are in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland we are very accessible. Mapleton is an easy and picturesque drive from Brisbane.
Eden Lodge is hosted by Libby and Jeff Dalrymple who will help to make your stay memorable. The building has recently been refurbished in vibrant colour both indoors and out, making it a delightful place to relax and recharge your batteries.
Enjoy afternoon tea on the deck with great views across the hinterland to the sea. In the cooler months snuggle up beside the cosy wood fire with a glass of port.
Eden Lodge offers a choice of accommodation. The Lodge has 3 queen bedrooms with all the facilities you would expect of a four star Bed & Breakfast. We also have a lovely Garden Studio, perfect for those who enjoy their privacy.
In our guests' sitting room you can watch TV/DVD/VCR, listen to some fine music, read from our library, play board games or just sit and relax.
A delicious breakfast is served on the deck (or in the dining room), at a time to suit you, while you are being entertained by soft music and birdsong.
We have off road parking for your vehicle, laundry facilities are available, we can make dinner reservations for you at our many local restaurants and, with notice, ensure any special dietary requirements are met.
Our local attractions will keep you busy or you may wish to venture a little further a field to The Eumundi Markets or maybe Australia Zoo. Whatever you choose to do, Eden Lodge is well located in a very interesting and picturesque part of the world.
Many people travel to the Blackall Range just to visit the famous Montville Village which boasts a delightful range of fascinating shops and a variety of eateries which offer anything from a cup of coffee to a delicious meal.
The Range also boasts four wineries, each of which are open to the public for wine tasting with Cellar Door Sales available. Also there are some excellent galleries on the Range offering a wide selection of work by local artists.
For the more energetic, the local scenery is superb and may be accessed through places like Kondalilla Falls or Mapleton Falls National Parks with their walking trails in fabulous rain forest (for further info see below).
On Saturday & Wednesday mornings Eumundi offers its vibrant markets where you may buy anything from an apple to a dining room table.
