Set among towering mountain ash and tree ferns of the Dandenong Ranges, Wild Orchid is a stand alone private cottage, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the splendour of the national forests, wine, dine and indulge.

From the outside the cottage is enchanting story book style. The interior is modern, elegant and comfortable. The lounge has a large sofa, log fire, LCDTV, DVD and iPod speaker dock.

The kitchen is fully equipped, but if you don't feel like cooking the cottage is a couple of minutes walk from a huge range of restaurants, cafes and take aways (for weekend guests we can even deliver to the cottage for you).

The romantic bedroom has a queen size bed, and private balcony. From which you can enjoy tree tops views with glimpses of the city, glorious sun sets and star gaze at night through the telescope. The bathroom has a spa bath, fluffy robes and towels, Massage can also be arranged by appointment, to ensure you are completely relaxed.

Ideally placed between the picturesque villages of Olinda and Mt Dandenong, you are close t o everything, but away form it all. The villages have fabulous boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, antiques, a Saturday produce market and much more.

Or you can simply enjoy the natural surroundings of the national state forest. Take walks; feed the Rosellas, King Parrots and cockatoos. There are several superb gardens and walks with walking maps provided so you may explore on your own. You may be fortunate enough to see wallabies, kangaroos and lyre birds all in their natural habitat.

Upon arrival you shall receive your welcome basket containing complimentary fluffy slippers and chocolates.

Once you have checked into the cottage it is your time, and your space. We do not disturb you to make beds or otherwise. Everything you need for a day or a week is in the cottage. If however you do require anything to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, please do not hesitate to ask. We can arrange many optional extras such as picnic hampers, bouquets, massage, and champagne. As well as complete packages as shown on the web sight.

Breakfast, like everything else in the cottage, is your choice. You can opt for a continental breakfast basket with fresh juice croissants and preserves or you may wish to walk to any of the nearby cafes and partake in a sumtious good breakfast of your choice. There is freshly ground coffee and teas for your enjoyment, and complimentary port for the evening fire side drinks.
