Bruny Island is accessed by a vehicular ferry which departs form Kettering (30 minutes south of Hobart). The scenic ferry ride takes approximately 15 minutes.
From there, follow the main road to the south of Bruny Island (a picturesque 45 minute drive) to the township of Lunawanna.
Once at Lunawanna, you will see the signs to "Explorers' Cottages" located on Lighthouse Road, on route to the famous Bruny Island Lighthouse and South Bruny National Park.
