It is a tranquil world away from stresses and hectic schedules, an ideal place to escape and rejuvenate with luxury spas, cosy wood fires, and romantic bedrooms.
Awake to breakfast on the verandah to the birds' serenade. Dine alfresco in your private courtyard, amongst the vineyards with views to the lake. Row to the island gazebo, throw in a fishing line or yabbie net, feed the friendly ducks, enjoy country walks, indulge with an in-room massage or spa treatment in the privacy of your own cottage. Bike hire is also available.
Centrally located to wineries, you can start your discovery with the nearby historic and boutique wineries along Seppeltsfield Road Palm Avenue – the cottages are only 1km from the start of this scenic tourist drive. A short 3km drive takes you to Tanunda, with shops, museums, galleries, cafes and restaurants.
Dining options - Gourmet regional food platters can be delivered to your cottage. Each cottage has private alfresco dining areas with BBQ facilities, outdoor setting and sunlounges and all have fully equipped kitchens. Closest restaurant 1km, with further options in nearby Tanunda (3km)
Please note: There is no onsite reception. Guests must phone Stonewell Cottages 24 hours prior to arrival to obtain door security code. There are no land-line phones in the cottages. We recommend you bring your mobile/cell phone.
