Welcome to Pastimes Bed and Breakfast at Rosevears.
Accommodation is made up of two beautifully appointed, self contained units with breathtaking views of the Tamar River.
The Family unit is comprised of two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two single beds. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge room, separate from the kitchen and dining room.
The Gallery unit has lovely views from both first floor bedroom and the ground floor, where the kitchen, bathroom and sofa bed are situated.
Hearty continental breakfasts are provided for you, including cereals, fruit, yoghurt, orange juice, tea and coffee, bread and spreads. A menu is available if you require delicious lunch or dinner packs.Family Unit for two – six persons. $130.00 (double) plus each additional person $20.00 per night.Gallery Unit for two – four persons $130.00 (double) plus each additional person $20.00 per night.Our Cafe is open on weekends from 1200 – 1700 (extended days during summer) where we serve devonshire teas, light lunches and snacks.
We also open by appointment to view the showcase of local artists work, ranging from hand knitted jumpers and glass jewellery to wood craft and paintings.If you wish to relax in the great outdoors, please feel free to use the lawn area, nestled by the side of the shop. You are most welcome to make use of the barbeque there.
A stroll away..As well as an enjoyable walk along the riverbank, you may wish to experience a few of the sights within walking distance of Pastimes.
We are blessed with a number of wineries for you to explore and close by are the Waterbird Haven Trust, Rosevears Tavern and Rosevears Jetty.
A short journey...Attactions are dotted down the banks of the Tamar River. We recommend golf and mini golf at Grindelwald, Low Head Lighthouse and Penguin Tours, Seahorse World and the Platypus House at Beauty Point and the Gold Mine Museum at Beaconsfield. Rosevears is within close proximity to all amenities and only 15 minutes from Launceston.
