The cottage is only 200 metres from the Moruya River and a c1850 pioneer cemetery, and only minutes away from the historic town of Moruya which offers major stores and restaurants, Bowling and Golf Clubs, and tennis courts. Good ocean beaches and National Parks are close by, as well as other attractions including Mogo Zoo, Tomakin Goldfields, and Moruya Aero Club Joyflights.
