Gap Creek Retreat house looks out over a pristine rainforest creek and is surrounded by extensive tropical fruit orchards and ornamental gardens. In the orchard you can find such fruit trees as Durians, Rambutans, Purple and Green Star Apples, Purple Mangosteen, Sapotes, Passionfruit, Dragon Fruit and many, many more.

Located on the banks of a beautiful rainforest creek and adjoining the Cedar Bay Nation Park means the farm is a heaven for all types of wildlife from frogs and tropical birds to Agile Wallabies and Bandicoots. This is truly a nature lovers paradise.

Gap Creek Retreat can accommodate up to five people. Sleeping arrangement include one double bed and one single bed in the house and one double bed in the detached Japanese style guest cabin.

Gap Creek Retreat is ideally located for travelers driving between Cooktown and Cape Tribulation on the “Coast Road” or any travelers wanting to somewhere peaceful, secluded and a little further off the regular tourist track to base themselves.
