Our boutique B&B is in the traditional seaside style complete with full ‘English’ breakfast (including haggis and black pudding for the adventurous).

Situated across the bay from the Freycinet Peninsula our B&B is located in the heart of historic Swansea, the oldest rural municipality in Australia.

Originally Swansea's Post Office and Post Master's residence, Freycinet Waters has been renovated with a decor that reflects the beautiful views of Oyster Bay experienced from the property.

Our central location makes it an easy walk to all amenities: shops, restaurants, hotel, club, golf course, jetty and beach fishing, tennis courts, museum and the magnificent walking track around Waterloo Point.

The East Coast is reputed to have the best temperate weather in Tasmania, mild in summer and warm in winter. The area has several fishing ports, many easily accessible sandy beaches and includes the Freycinet National Park with spectacular Wineglass Bay. The coast has a thriving wine growing sector to complement the tourism, fishing and timber industries. Activities within easy reach of Swansea include horse riding, deep sea boat charter, the penguin rookery at Bicheno, scenic flights and kayaking/camping tours.
