Our accommodation is located at the foot of Mt Hotham with 4 Single bedroom Units, 8 two bedroom units and BLACKWOOD LODGE a 3 b/room 24 sq House. This house has 3 large bedrooms, 2 with QS bed and a single bed in each, the 3rd bedroom has 3 sets of bunks and sleeps 6. The lounge has a double Sofa bed and can be closed off for privacy. The living space is massive with a large lounge,with Bar, another living area which has the TV. There are also 2 dining areas, and very large kitchen, with Dishwasher and full cooking facilities and a MWO. The laundry has a washing machine and ironing needs. There are clothes lines and a dryer on the grounds. There is a very large sunroom leading out to your own private covered BBQ area. There are 2 garages. There is gas heating RC airconditioning and ceiling fans. All this is set in a very secluded area with trees all around. This idyllic setting provides our guests with the ideal escape for all seasons. Our gardens offer tranquility for the family with swimming in the large pool (also a todlers pool) and Gas BBQ's on the Ovens river. We have a playground, trampoline, Recreation Room with a Pool Table and a Table tennis table. Our rooms also have TVs, DVDs, Heaters, Electric Blankets giving you the comforts of home. Being at the base of Mt Hotham and Mt feathertop we are ideally situated for skiing in the winter and walking in the other seasons. There are many walks for the not so dedicated. There is also the challenge of the mountains for the cyclists of all standards.

Whilst in Harrietville there is something for everyone to do.
Take a stroll and get a morning coffee. There is Morries Icecreamery and Bella's Coffee shop where you can get the most suptuous Coffees, Hot Chocolates, Icecreams and lovely lite meals. There are lots of Art Gallerys Wineries and Historical interests between Harrietville and as far as Omeo and Beechworth, return and have a loveyl evening meal at one of the two local Hotels and spend and evening chatting with locals. Having done that what about a walk around Harrietville, there are quite a few gentle walks or the more challenging to Washington bridge 8km or Mt feathertop. Been there done that, what about the bikes you bought with you, how about a bike ride to the trout farm and do some fishing. Or walk to the Dredge hole and drop in a line or take the kids for a swim where they can dive off the jetty. Or you can just relax in our gardens with a wine and a book after a lovely swim in the pool before your BBQ tea.

Skiers can catch a bus from Hoys at Harrietville daily to Mt Hotham leaving at 8 AM. All ski gear can be hired in Harrietville at Hoys and the Harrietville Hotel. Chains can be hired also.

Four wheel Drive tour operators have full and half day tours.

The Autumm Festival is a celebration of the magnificent sight of all the trees in their spledour. This is 2 weeks of organised tours with local arts and produce on display.

The spring festival is again a riot of colour this time with all the flowers of spring showing off to the world.

November is the Blue grass festival in Harrietville with performers from all over Australia and overseas.

January is a time for families and fun, and the Audax cycling event when riders ride from Mt Hotham, Mt Beauty, Mt Buffalo and all distances between.
