Enter through the dry stone pillars and walls that serpentine Folly Farms entrance, down the long driveway to your cottage.Ten acres of perfect peace and quiet awaits you!
Setting the mood is a beautiful wrought iron chandelier, handmade by a local blacksmith and a romantic four poster bed, hand turned by local craftsman. The polished spotted gum floors and original lead light French doors from the main house complemented by the light and sunny aspect. The ensuite offers a corner double spa. If required ,a second bathroom offers an access bathroom built to Australian standards.
The pantry is stocked with provisions to cook breakfast at your leisure and include country style bread, farm fresh eggs from our chooks, bacon from our local butcher, juice, cereals, yogurt, freshly ground coffee beans and a choice of loose leaf teas. Sleep late, breakfast on the veranda, enjoy views over Mt.Dandenong and garden….perhaps linger over a second cuppa.
The Edna Walling designed gardens have matured into a truly special treat. Wander past the dry stone walls and follow the little pathways. The garden is brimming with special delights…… look closely and see dainty anemone nemorosa, woodland cyclamen and erythronium. Gracious trees including English Ash, Poplar, Juniper, Mt.Atlas Cedar, Deodar and of course Walling's signature silver birch are there too!
Our English shepherds hut is a very special hideaway! Curl up on the daybed and watch the garden grow. Keep cozy with a bottle of Yarra Valley Red and a platter by candlelight. A romantic place to propose……..The shepherds hut is a cozy escape in winter or a delightful summerhouse during the warmer weather!
Two day reservations are required on weekends. Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday. All tariffs include hearty breakfast provisions to cook at your leisure.

Well behaved dogs are welcome to sleep inside. Olinda has many great walks for you and your pet. Al fresco dinning available in Olinda and Mt.Dandenong. Dog House Rules apply.
