Hartnoll Park is located in the old part of Burradoo, an elegant residential area adjoining Bowral in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW.
Here 100 year old trees line the leafy streets and lanes, and English style hedges allow you glimpses of grand old country gardens renowned for their magnificent displays in spring and autumn.
Hartnoll Park is a romantic two-storey cottage nestled near towering pines.
Fully self-contained, the cottage offers elegant and private accommodation ideal for one or two couples.
Downstairs there is a lounge room with a door leading on to the garden, with cosy gas log fire for those cooler evenings.
Flat screen TV, DVD, Austar and sound system are supplied, and there are plenty of books, magazines and games for your entertainment. Wireless internet access is available.
The fully equipped modern country kitchen also has a dining area that leads out onto a verandah and private garden with a lawn surrounded by hedges and shrubs.
Tables and chairs here allow you to breakfast al fresco on clear bright country mornings, or to relax in the sun - your peace broken only by the sound of the abundant native bird life.
You are also welcome to explore the acre of surrounding gardens and rest a while on one of the many benches and enjoy the view.
Hartnoll Park Cottage has two luxuriously appointed queen size bedrooms, making it ideal for one or two couples.
Upstairs is a romantic bedroom with sloping ceilings which seem to cocoon you with comfort.
The second bedroom is located downstairs. Both bedrooms offer fine linen and electric woolrest blankets for cooler nights.
The bathroom downstairs has a shower and a large bath to soak in.
On the ground floor there is also a fully equipped laundry with dryer - a boon to the traveller.
Your fully equipped kitchen contains all the provisions you need for a traditional country breakfast: cereals, fruit juice, eggs, bacon, bread, jams, teas, and plunger coffee.
But before breakfast you will be tempted to explore the picturesque streets and lanes of Burradoo on a brisk early morning walk - perhaps down the lane next door to the Wingecarribee River behind.
A complimentary platter is provided for your arrival, and the many stylish cafes and restaurants of Bowral, book and antique shops, and boutiques, are just a few minutes away.
All year round there is something special for you to do in the Southern Highlands: enjoy cosy fires and central heating in winter; visit wonderful gardens and walks in national parks in spring and autumn; enjoy the long warm days and cool nights of summer.
Here the air is fresh and clean and the night sky is starry bright, making the Southern Highlands the ideal getaway destination - just 90 minutes from Sydney or Canberra.
