A warm welcome awaits you from hosts Maxine and Henry Stauffer, who invite you to enjoy either an overnight stop or an extended holiday at Heimat. The Chalets are stylish and modern, fully air-conditioned and nestled alongside contented farm animals and a redcurrant orchard overlooking the picturesque Derwent Valley: Accommodation in Chalet One is basically for families, with a Queen-size bed downstairs and three single beds and a cot upstairs. Chalet Two is designed for couples, or two couples travelling together, with a Queen-size bed downstairs and a King-size bed upstairs.
Heimat is a 100-acre (40 hectare) farm in the hills behind New Norfolk with glorious views to Mount Wellington in the South and Mount Field to the West.
There is an outdoor play area for younger visitors, bushwalks and easy strolls around the farm. Heimat Chalets are Self-contained and licensed or BYO. The charming rustic BBQ facility provides for alfresco barbecues on warm days as well as cosy indoor ones on cool or rainy days by the large open fire.
For the romantic touch evening meals can be delivered to your Chalet upon request.
For breakfast you will be provided with your choice of hearty continental style breakfast provisions. All breakfasts are complimentary.
