The view from the top of Woodbridge Hill is stunning with impressive views of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel to the East and the Hartz Mountains to the South East. Woodbridge Hill Cottage has an extensive network of walking tracks with 60 acres of Rain Forest and Native Bushland, including a beautiful bushland garden along Garden Island Creek. Planted in this garden area is a Wollemi Pine which is growing really well! This pine has it's own Certificate of Authenticity and is part of the Conservation Collection.

Woodbridge Hill Cottage is located on Woodbridge Hill Road. If you are travelling from Hobart then head South to Kingston, once you see the signs for Margate, get into the far right hand lane (changes to 3 lanes), continue on through Margate and Kettering. Once you reach Woodbridge (4km South of Kettering) just turn right at Mason's Store/Police Station (Woodbridge Hill Road) in the middle of Woodbridge.

Woodbridge Hill Cottage
This Norwegian style cottage is set in secluded surroundings and is perfect for that very private holiday where the only sounds you will hear are the wildlife.

The gardens around the cottage have been extensively planted with both Australian and Exotic plants and the birds, including Blue Wrens, small honey-eaters, Robin Red Breasts, Wattle Birds, Owls, Parrots and on occasion our resident Wedge-tailed Eagle will delight you with their comings and goings.

Other wildlife includes Wallabies, Potoroos, Bandicoots, Echidnas, Possums and a recent visit to our pond and creek by an elusive Platypus.

While walking along Garden Island Creek at night-time, torch in hand, you may spot our resident pair of ring-tailed possums sitting in the overhead branches.
