Hathaway Bed & Breakfast is only 35 mins from Port Stephens, and only 40 mins from the Hunter Valley. The historic town of Morpeth is also only 15mins away where one can enjoy all the attractions of the local art galleries and the many restaurants and cafes, together with the variety of craft shops and boutiques that Morpeth boasts.
Hathaway offers a variety of accommodation options, from the self contained cottage, ideall for the romantic get-away, or perhaps you are a corporate client who appreciates a little independance and privacy. Then there is the Garden Room, perfect for the family with 2 children, which opens out onto a covered courtyard offering privacy and peace in beautiful garden surrounds. The Rose Room with double bed offers a quiet aspect, overlooking the beautiful front garden. All rooms have their own bathrooms, tea making facilities, and TV/VCR player.
Guests can enjoy breakfast (included in the tariif) in any of the 3 areas, being the formal dining room, the sunroom overlooking the terraced gardens at the rear, or (weather permitting) in thecourtyard.
Offstreet, secure parking is available upon request, and a pick-up service to and from the Newcastle airport can also be arranged.
Pet Friendly Details
We have 2 x pet friendly rooms. One is the self contained cottage with tiled floor throughout. The other is the Garden Room with access out onto a covered courtyard area, where dogs can be kept. The property is totally fenced and gates locked at night.
