We are extremely pleased to recommend Staughton B&B. The genuine friendly nature of Barry and Carole; their excellent hospitality; delightful healthy breakfast; first class assistance with suggestions and directions re travel, informed worthwhile places to visit, and, a special enjoyment regarding general conversation with them in a lovely home....makes a stay "totally relaxing and a joy to behold." We spent 5 days - Parking is available and the train station is closeby - an easy short walk to take when going in to Melbourne by train.
Our trip from Canada was enhanced richly by our stay at Staughton B&B.

Breakfast
Experience a home away from home. Relax in period ambience and enjoy gourmet breakfasts and snacks for which Staughton is renowned. Breakfast consists of freshly squeezed juice, a fresh fruit platter, cereals, muesli, yoghurts, and delicious bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes and smoked salmon. Pastries and a variety of toasts are also available, as is a variety of teas and coffee. Dietary needs gladly catered for.

Staughton is convenient to most attractions and public transport, yet far enough away from the central area to provide that quiet, out of town atmosphere. Trains provide a short direct trip to the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Tennis Centre, National Gallery, the restaurants of Southbank and the Casino. Tram and train are 6 minutes' walk.
