Explorers Lodge provides Bed and Breakfast for four en suite bedrooms. The two cheaper rooms are smaller. The rooms have a double bed, two queen beds, and twin or king room.
Available exclusively for guests' use is a large sittingroom, a lovely relaxing sunroom, and a breakfast room. The sunroom and sittingroom open onto the large garden where guests are welcome to relax. There is also a swimming pool for the hotter months.
In the heat of summer there is airconditioning throughout and fans in the rooms. For the colder months there is large open fire in the sittingroom, heat pumps and heaters throughout the house including overhead heating in the bathrooms.

Continental breakfast with homemade bread, freshly cut fruit salad, various cereals, yoghurt is included in the tariff. A cooked breakfast is provided on request at an extra.

The self catering unit has an option of one or two bedrooms each with its own bathroom.
The two bedroomed option is suitable for a family of 4 or 5 as there is an extra bed in the main bedroom. It is also suitable for two couples travelling together and has the advantage of two bathrooms. A kitchenette, sittingroom with TV, verandah with a barbeque and a washing machine are all provided. The main bedroom is en suite and has a king bed (and a single). The second bedroom has twin beds and a dedicated bathroom.

Light breakfast provisions (which include home baked bread) are included in the tariff.
