Eden is 40 hectares or 102 acres and is registered with "Land for Wildlife", a voluntary nature conservation scheme. Half the property is native bush and home to plentiful wildlife. Our home and the bed and breakfast area look to the bush. A walk around Eden in November gave a bird count of 59. Special birds include: Rainbow Pitta, Bush Stone-curlew, Barking Owl. There are also plentiful wallabies and possums.
Accommodation
There is a spacious, self-contained, ground floor suite overlooking the garden to native bush was designed by an award winning architect for comfort in the tropics. It has a queen sized bed, quality sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, lounge area and a modern bathroom. The suite captures breeze from any direction and also has overhead fans and split system air-conditioning. French doors open onto private verandas.
The upstairs Treetop Room overlooks the pool to native treetops. It has a double bed and a dedicated bathroom with shower and spa/bath. Your comfort is assured with cross-ventilation, overhead fan and split-system air-conditioning. Breakfast is served on the upstairs veranda.
Enjoy home grown, fresh produce, tropical fruits in season and homemade preserves.

Your hosts are Heather Boulden and Jeremy Hemphill who have lived in the Territory for 30+ years. We are happy to assist with travel plans. As travellers, we have first hand knowledge and experience of things that make a difference to the quality of your experience. We offer friendly service and are sensitive to your need for either seclusion, or involvement with us and our life on the farm. Sabre, our Kangal dog, is large and friendly.
