I took my daughter and two fluffy dogs for a long weekend to Daylesford in the middle of July - it was cold but beautiful. Double Nut was terrific in all respects - brilliant location right in the middle of town, perfect for dogs with an enclosed area at the end for them to play outside (and so great to be able to bring them along!), lovely apartment with great decor (great red/white/black colours for my daughter who is a mad St Kilda fan) , welcome refreshments, chocolates and wine on arrival. When I found a couple of maintenance issues and contacted the management, I was treated with consideration and respect and the issues were attended to promptly, and even the repair man left a very friendly note when he fixed the TV. All in all, we had a wonderful time and I would happily return there again in a heartbeat.

My mum and I stayed at Double Nut Chalets for two nights to have some much needed mother/daugher time. We had such a wonderful relaxing time. Our chalet was very comfortable and lovely and private. We loved the complimentary champagne and chocolates which we enjoyed in the spa on the first night.

Double Nut offers a choice of four private self contained Chalets each set in a rambling cottage garden.

The chalets each offer:

* Portable oven and hot plate and BBQ on request

Continental Breakfast Provisions enough for a 2 night stay (choice of cereals, orange juice, bread, assortment of jams, butter, coffee, tea, sugar and milk), a complimentary bottle of wine or bubbly, port and chocolates are included in the price.

Mid week price - $180.00 per night
Weekend - $420.00 Fri/Sat - Sat/Sun.

Double Nut Chalets are located in the heart of Daylesford. Just around the corner of the main street, on the left hand side of Howe Street, before you get to the fountain.

We are SMALL dog pet friendly. We ask that you bring your pets own bedding and bowls. Please do not let them on the furniture or bedding. ($20.00)
Local Attractions
On site their is a wine bar and restaurant with different types of entertainment. Just one minutes walk to the shops, restaurants, cafes and galleriesand Day Spas. Daylesford Day Spa - Albert Street 5348 2331 - mid week guests call and let them know you are staying at Double Nut Chalets and you will receive a 10% discount. A little further you will find, the Botanical gardens, Convent Gallery, Sunday Market and Lake Daylesford. The Hepburn Spa Resort is only 3km down the road as is the Hepburn Golf Club which has plenty of kangaroos. A short drive (10 minutes) you will find the Lavender farm - Lavandula.

Pet Friendly Details
The Chalets do not have a fenced area but small pets are welcome, owners are to bring own bedding, are not to be on furniture or bed, and are to clean up after their pets. You will be charged for any damage to the chalets. ($20.00 pet fee)
