At Bewong River Retreat there are eight magnificent fully self contained luxury Bungalows, each with a unique interior decor and theme.
The tourquise and aquas of the Bottlebrush Bungalow inspired by the crystal clear waters of nearby Jervis Bay which has beautiful, white, sandy beaches and breathtaking scenery.
The earthy aboriginal colours and traditional feel of the Wattle Bungalow has its inspiration from the native hunters who passed through the area and left spear sharpening marks in rocks, as they prepared to hunt and fish in the bush and waterways surrounding the Bungalows.
Bedrooms: Framed by a large, open, angled, wooden doorway the large queensize bed is the focal point of each bungalow. The openness of the bedroom creates a unique inviting feeling that allows a couple to have total intimacy, yet, still feel immersed in the surrounding natural beauty.
Kitchen: The kitchen features colour coordinated cupboards and benchtops each with a breakfast bar, new gas cooktop, an electric oven with a rangehood and a seperate microwave oven as well as a stainless steel sink with flickmixer taps.
A toaster, cutlery, plates, cups and wine glasses are provided as well as all the other kitchen and barbecue implements you will need on your stay. Provided in your fridge/freezer with be milk. And tea, coffee and sugar are also supplied.
Living Rooms: Polished timber floors with large windows pruduce an open natural ambience to the main living area. The high raked ceilings, fans and air-conditioning and views through the native gum trees to the river, make it is a perfect escape from the hot summer sun.
Enjoy a relaxing spa together, with window views that make you feel totally absorbed into the surrounding natural beauty. Or close off the outside, turn on the spa lights and enjoy a special moment together in a luxurious, romantic setting.
Deck Area: Each Bungalow has it's own large outside deck area off the main livingroom, where you can enjoy the tranquil bush and water views while savouring an evening barbecue with a nice wine or well deserved beer.
Why not try an intimate, late morning champagne breakfast accompanied by the soothing sounds of the Australian bush.
Each Bungalow is just a short stroll to the lush grass covered banks of the river where you can enjoy a refreshing swim or throw in a line.
