This place has everything you could want. Amazing views, great location, comfortably furnished, well stocked kitchen, great layout. Cannot fault it in any way. We'll be back! Very friendly and helpful owner, Denise, who met us at the airport and showed us over the property.

Shannon Cottage is set on four and a half acres overlooking Currie Harbour on the West Coast of King Island. The main town of Currie is some three kilometres away by road and 15 minutes walk around the harbour by track and beach
There are 2 cottages a one bedroom and a three bedroom both fully self contained

You can sit and watch the Southern Ocean waves rolling in and the busy crayfish boats shuttling back and forth from Currie Harbour. The air is clean and the sunsets spectacular.

You can do some rock fishing around Devils Gap, beach fishing, shell collecting and swim on some fabulous close beaches

Wildlife roams free in the Devils Gap area and sightings of Bennets wallabies, possums, ring necked pheasants, turkeys and many varieties of sea birds are a daily occurrence.

Titillate your taste buds and try some of King Islands produce - succulent crayfish,in season, juicy beef, plump oysters,cheeses beyond belief and the greatest pies and smallgoods
