Bendalls is an exquisitely restored heritage listed Georgian Victorian home where you will experience simple colonial 19th century Hobart. Relax on the verandah and enjoy stunning views of Mt. Wellington or take a stroll through the lovely kitchen garden.
Your rest and privacy are guaranteed by Bendalls thick sandstone walls and separate entry. Friendly hosts Karen and Roger have furnished rooms in simple colonial style with 19th and 20th century furniture and collectibles which take you back to another time. Each room has a table, chairs, crockery, cutlery, basin and very comfortable beds, which are draped in crisp white linen and warm blankets.
Located in a quiet area, with easy parking, a short walk takes you to excellent cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Only 10 minutes from Hobart city centre, Salamanca Place and the historic waterfront with public transport at the door and easy access to attractions, sporting venues, shopping, theatres, hospitals and function centres. The airport is only a short 20 minute drive or take the nearby Airporter bus service. Bendalls proximity to main roads makes it simple to head off for day trips to the Huon Valley, Hastings Caves, Richmond, Port Arthur, Mt Field National Park and Derwent Valley.
