The Princes Lodge Motel is located less than 2 kilometres from Adelaide City among some of North Adelaide's grandest homes. The main house began life as one of the many grand 2 storey residences built on Lefevre Terrace. Constructed in the Edwardian style in 1913 the home became Adelaide’s Naval House and eventually converted to a motel offering you an unique place to stay.
With a commanding view over the Adelaide Parklands towards the Hills why not relax in our 1st floor lounge or on the balcony with a drink. Our large rear garden also offers shade under the established trees and a BBQ area for casual meals. You will forget you are only a few minutes walk from busy O’Connell Street lined with supermarkets, restaurants, bars and cafés to suit all tastes and budgets. And for movie buffs the historic Art Deco Picadilly Cinema is on O'Connell Street too.
North Adelaide is serviced well by public transport including Adelaide's free city loop commuter bus however you can easily walk to the Adelaide Aquatic centre, Adelaide Oval, Adelaide Zoo, Lake Torrens and the Adelaide Festival Centre from the Motel. All are no more than a 15 minute stroll away.
