I stayed at the Pathdorf for two nights, I had a single room which was comfortable. Uwe is very welcoming and an excellent cook. Dinner was served by Uwe each evening on the upstairs balcony, which was very pleasant. The setting for the Pathdorf is beautiful, it is a short walk out the back to the Tod river where I saw and heard many birds. A peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Yes, I would stay there again.

Great peaceful location in beautiful surroundings. Wonderful host who could not do enough for us. Always very obliging and helpful. Very personal service. Great sense of humour.
Probably best if you have a rental car if staying more than a couple of days, if you need to travel into Alice (only about 10mins by car). However, Uwe, your host, will take you in to/pick you up from Alice town centre whenever you want, for less than the price of a taxi.

We would unreservedly recommend Pathdorf as a place to stay if visiting Alice Springs.
