Idyllically nestled inside Bournda National Park, on one of Australia's premier coastlines with its pristine beaches and natural beauty, award winning Woodbine Park is a truly unique nature based holiday destination. Set amidst towering gums and a wealth of wildlife, the living is easy, relaxed and peaceful with all the attractions of magical Merimbula at your fingertips. Our 20 two bedroom eco cabins offer all the comforts of home with fully appointed kitchen, colour TV, wood heaters to warm away the winter nights, your own laundry facilities and undercover parking. Plenty of entertainment is provided on site free of charge and includes, large inground solar heated pool, toddler water pool, full size tennis court, 3 fun golf holes (par 3's), childrens playground, BBQ's, bushwalks and of course, lots of room to move. Woodbine Park is renowned for its wildlife with kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, possums, goannas, echidnas and some 70 species of birds all being regular visitors in and around the park. Situated just 7 kms from Merimbula (5 min drive) with all its attractions means we do really offer the best of both worlds.

Things To Do

Our area boasts many national parks, wilderness areas, beaches, lakes and streches of pristine coastline. Surfing, diving, fishing, sailboarding and waterskiing are all very popular and well catered for. Renowned for its whale watching, our coastline plays host to many varieties of these magestic mammals as they migrate south (Sept - Nov). They can often be seen from the shore or you can go to sea on a whale watching tour and get up close and personal. Charter tours for all types of fishing and whale watching are avilable all year round. Just a short drive from Woodbine Park is magical Merimbula with its great variety of restaurants and eateries, execellent shopping, four licensed clubs and movie theatre there is entertainment for all. This is only a small sample of the attractions available in our magical area. We are a year round holiday destination enjoying a comfortable 16 degrees in winter and a pleasant 27 degrees in summer.

Travel Directions

From Sydney turn right onto Sapphire Coast Drive from Snowy Mountains Highway just past Kalaru and follow road until you reach our sign.(6 hour drive from Sydney along Princes Highway). From Melbourne follow road into Merimbula and turn right onto Sapphire Coast Drive and follow until you reach our entrance sign (7 hour drive from Melbourne along Princes Highway). From Canberra turn right onto Sapphire Coast Drive from Snowy Mountains Highway just past Kalaru and follow road until you reach our sign. (3 hour drive from Canberra on Snowy Mountains Highway).
