All cottages feature personalised touches and have their own covered carport. Guest facilities include an inground pool, large covered BBQ area, gazebo and ski drying room. The Silver Birches backs onto the famous "Mountain to Murray" bicycle track and is 5 minutes walk from the Ovens River and Canyon Walk. The managers are committed to continuous improvement and pay attention to detail and pleasing the guests, endevouring to make their stay a pleasant one. Accommodation at the Silver Birches consists of 10 stand-alone (no adjoining walls) fully self-contained two bedroom cottages with one Queen size bed, and either two singles or a second Queen size bed depending on your requirements. Each cottage has an individual flavour with different furnishings and colour schemes.The open plan with fully equipped kitchen and laundry, offer convenience and value. The Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail The Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail follows a gentle gradient that makes it suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. There are three toilet blocks built on the bicycle path. Cycle or walk and enjoy the scenery. The Bright section of the trail begins at the Beautiful Old Bright Railway Station, now a Museum. Victorian Ski Fields The Silver Birches is just a short drive from the Victorian snowfields of Falls Creek, Mount Hotham and Mount Buffalo offering a range of outdoor activities including skiing & snow boarding in winter. Gold Museum The Gold Museum has a range of gold mining equipment and machinery on display. The museum has an eclectic collection and information on Gold and Gold Coinage, Reef Mining, Life on the Goldfields, Early Australian Goldfield Paintings and the history of Bright. Mt Buffalo Vineyard The Mt Buffalo Vineyard is located on the Bright Berry Farm property at Eurobin. The vineyard specialises in cold climate reds. The vineyard is open 7 days a week during December to May, from 8.00 am until 5.00 pm.
