Break of Day is a small private bed & breakfast where our guests can enjoy delightful views from each room together with our great personalised hospitality. Need any further information? Call Heather or Ken on 08 9761 1284. We advise that Break of Day is not suitable for children. Babies can be accommodated in Garden rooom free of charge stay but guests must provide their own cot. Wander through our gardens among our new plantings of native trees and shrubs and our established fruit orchard with apricots,cherry, peaches, plums, pears and citrus. Take a walk round our berry fruit & vegetable gardens from which our preserves and relishes are made. Watch out for our many birds that visit us to feed and drink close to the house. Inside our jarrah floored home there is a comfortable guest lounge upstairs with magnificent views, or if you prefer, a downstairs lounge with a wood heater for those chilly winter mornings or evenings. For your comfort in the summer months each lounge is air conditioned. Both lounges are equipped with flat screen TV, video and CD players. Leisure and informational books to peruse during your stay and a wide range of board games are available if you wish to stay home in the evenings. Tariff at Break of Day includes a choice of breakfast delights with our freshly cooked home made bread,a selection of cereals, our own fruit and our own home made conserves. A sumptuous fully cooked breakfast follows. Have your breakfast served on your own private verandah or balcony, or in our unique dining room with its octagonal jarrah timber table. Choose your own time for breakfast to fit your itinerary. Evening meals are available with a wide variety of menu choices, using local produce where possible. Late breakfasts & late checkout are nearly always available. We offer a choice of two guest rooms each with their own ensuite and separate entrance. Both rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, a refrigerator, fan, hair dryer, heater, electric blanket & extra pillows and blankets. We also provide convenience soaps and soft fluffy bathrobes. Travel Directions

From the Southwest Highway at the Perth end of Bridgetown turn into Nelson Street (second street on the right if travelling from Perth) up to the top of hill (approx 1.5km), left into Bussell Street, at the end of Bussell Street, sharp right into Walter Road. Look for the Break of Day sign which is about 500metres down on the right hand side. The road to us is bitumen, so if you get to a gravel road, you have passed us! turn round and then Break of Day is the first property on the left - we are the double storey blue house surrounded by lovely gardens.

Cancellation Policy

One nights accommodation if cancellation less than 48 hours prior to booking For festival weekends including Blues weekend full payment must be made at the time of booking. If the booking is subsequently cancelled Break of Day will make every effort to rebook the room. If however we are unable to fill the vacancy no refund will be given.

Garden Room

Queen bed. Separate entrance to room. Sumptuous cooked breakfast. Ensuite. Babies can be accommodated in the Garden room free of charge but guests must provide their own cot.

Penguin Room

Double bed. Ensuite. Sumptuous cooked breakfast available in dining room or on own private verandah.
