An absolute delight to stay there. The restored house is beautifully finished, with spacious bedrooms and facilities which are superb. The location itself is just stunning, and close to the fabulous Blue Tier, Pyengana and the striking St Colomba Falls. The hosts, Rosemary and Charlie were very charming and made us feel special. They offer their BBQ facilities if we wished to cook for ourselves and you can buy top quality steak from them, at bargain prices, to cook on the barbie. Easily the best accommodation we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Tasmania, and it all came at a very low cost. We would love to return.
This place is all class and an example of what can be done. Well dome Rosemary and Charlie!

This was our second stay in Dotril and we love it. The view from the cottage is just beautiful and just across the road from the beach. Waking to the sound of the sea is incredible. Certainly one of our favourite places to stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at this guesthouse. The host were very accomodating and the property was beuatiful. It was so quiet you could heard a pin drop we counties away. Couldn't recommend it more!

A beautiful cottage with views to die for. It has all the conveniences of home and a lovely independent cafe/restaurant right below with great food and hospitatlity. Bring your camera for the dusk shots!

A little out of the way, but it is excellent price-wise, comfor-wise. A disadvantage was that they did not accept credit cards, cash only and this is not obvious at the time of booking. I would highly reccommend it for couples.

I can thoroughly recommend Goulds Country Guest House and will tell my friends in Germany about it once I get back. My friend Hazel (from Tassie) and I had a lovely stay with Rosemary and Charlie. Such a friendly welcome and send off after two days. And learned a lot about the countryside in and around. I want to thank both of them for a great experience in Tassie.

Cottage was very clean and comfortable. "ours" was the Burgess cottage. It is the cottage nearest the road and for an elderly couple ,in our opinion, the most desirable as it involves the least climimg of the hill.

Absolutely amazing place, just like a home away from home, clean, tidy and all the things you could ever need were supplied. I would highly recommend this place to families as my kids just loved it.
