Building has wonderful old character and charm. Host is helpful and friendly. Breakfast of homecooked fruits, jams, bread, cereal etc - very tasty. A delightful place to spend time at.

We stayed at Windmill Hill Lodge for just one night, but we loved it. The room was tidy and pleasant (decorated in the by-gone-era style) with big windows for fresh air and some views, and the house really lovely. It is just a short drive to the city centre as well.
The hosts were nice and breakfast was just out of this world! We just loved the baked pears! For our next visit to Launceston, we'll definitely stay at the Lodge again.

This was the best property of our two week stay and we never wanted to leave!!! it is well positioned for exploring the town and outer areas, it has great furnishings and in floor heating, along with a bathroom to die for! Can't wait to go back and will base our whole holiday from here. The best and could not be beaten. What a GEM!!

John was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Port and coffee in the restful lounge after a long day was most welcome. Rooms were warm and well equipped. House was very close to CBD but still in a quiet area. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

We spent three nights at Four Crown Street and were really impressed. The location was excellent being within walking distance of the CBD and a very short walk to a Coles supermarket and BWS Liquor store for essential supplies.
The house itself is presented in an elegant and stylish manner and it is obvious that much thought has been put into the overall design. The kitchen was a delight with good quality crockery, cutlery, glassware and equipment. Bedrooms were well presented with quality linen and had loads of cupboard space. The bathroom was very special. Highly recommended.
