We stayed at Cottage on High over Christmas 2012 and had a delighted time. The house is absolutely beautiful, with a modern kitchen and lovely antique furniture throughout. The position is close to the town and the walks nearby are very pleasant. Our family of six were very comfortable. Many thanks,

Elegant and tasteful furnishings appropriate to the age of the house, friendly atmosphere, great history, a real gem.
Hostess provided great breakfast, including free-range eggs, home-made jams and bread, the lemon curd was a winner!
Lots of good tips on where to go and what to see around Launceston

Mighty pleasant stay. Hosts very welcoming and up for a right royal chat, which I never shy away from!!! Terrific breakfast with the porridge, pikelets and muffins rated as good as anywhere you can get it. Very handily located but just far enough out of the centre of Launceston, walking distance away though, to be away from the hustle and bustle. Great views also as on the high side of Launceston. Reasonably priced at $145.00 a night for 3 adults. Certainly be enquiring about availability when staying in Launceston again.

Fantastic place to stay. Close to Restaurants, short walk to town, handy to river/gorge cruises & the marina. Walk in the morning up the boardwalk and over the bridge into the beautiful Cataract Gorge and back again in time for breakfast. Really good spacious rooms. Upgrade iif you can, it's worth the balcony. Only let down was our room didnt get serviced during the day and we had to call housekeeping who did it when we went out for dinner that night, so not a big deal really. I would recommend it as the best place to stay in Launceston. Thank you Peppers!
