Just 240 kilometres from the mainland, Tasmania is a world apart from the rest o Australia. Completely unique landscapes of lush greens, reds, and yellows greet visitors, along with some of the friendliest folks in all of Oz. That`s not all, of course; you`ll also enjoy great wine and food, and an arts community that fully embraces its environment to create some really great piceces. All of this is put forth in typical laid-back Tasmanian style.
Almost half of the island`s land is under protection, resulting in totally pristine habitat. Best of all, Tasmania is small enough to enjoy with your own two feet, strolling through alpine forest only to pop out onto a pure white beach for a picnic. Tasmania really does have it all.
